Prospective candidates must have five credits at Ordinary Level (G.C.E) etc. including English Language, Mathematics and Economics with two other subjects at one sitting. But the candidates may have 6 credits at two sittings and a functional laptop with webcam and good internet connection

Admission shall be open to school certificate holders from any recognized examination body. BSc. Computer Science

The minimum entry requirements for admission shall be; Five O’ Level credits, in at least five subjects at SSCE/GCE/NECO O’ Level or its equivalent obtained at NOT more than TWO sittings. The subjects shall include English Language, Mathematics, Physics Chemistry, and either of Biology/Agricultural Science or Economics and two relevant science subjects. In addition, an acceptable pass in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) with the relevant subject combination from English, Mathematics, Physics, and one of Biology, Chemistry, Agric. Science, Economics and Geography is required for admission into 100 level and a functional laptop with webcam and good internet connection

B. Sc. International Relations

Admission requirements; Four (4) year-programme: In addition to UTME score, Candidate must have obtained five credit passes in SSC to include Mathematics, English Language, Government or History and other two subjects at not more than two sittings and a functional laptop with webcam and good internet connection

B.Sc. Social Work

Direct entry candidates should have other qualification like University Diploma, NCE, IJMB, ND, GCE, JUPEB A level or equivalent professional qualification and a functional laptop with webcam and good internet connection

B.Sc. Criminology and Security Studies

Direct Entry candidates are required to have GCE ‘A’ level, National Certificate of Education (NCE), OND, IJMBE, JUPEB, CIE, or its equivalent and any other qualification that may be approved by the Senate of the University. Direct Entry Students are expected to have 5 “O” level subjects passed at credit level in GCE, WASCE, SSCE, and NECO in addition to the normal entry requirements for Direct Entry. Also, graduates of Nursing Schools, holders of NCE and other equivalent Advanced level programmes recognized by the Senate of the University may be considered and a functional laptop with webcam and good internet connection

Candidates with two A’ level passes in science subjects including Mathematics and Physics.at the GCE/IJMB A’ Level and certificates, such as National Diploma (ND) in Computer Science with at least an Upper Credit from a recognised Polytechnic and NCE in Computer Science/Maths; Computer Science/Physics; Maths/ Physics and other relevant subjects with at least credit passes from a recognised College of Education may be admitted into 200 level and also a functional laptop with webcam and good internet connection

B. Sc. International Relations

For Three (3) year-programme: Candidates shall possess five credit passes in the SSC, two of which must be at advanced level, provided that such passes are not counted at both levels of the examinations. For emphasis credit passes in English Language, Mathematics and any of Government or History is compulsory and also a functional laptop with webcam and good internet connection
